New work at the Biscuit Factory
I am exhibiting a new collection at the Biscuit Factory in Newcastle. This follows my success showing at the gallery for the first time during 2006.
The new work on show is typical of my style and vision, highlighting the often unseen details in landscapes as well as capturing the quality of light and movement of the land.
The collection comprises fourteen photographs of subjects ranging from sea and coast landscapes in Shetland to areas closer to home in North East England, including Howick, St.Cuthbert’s Way, Saltburn, and South Tyneside.
Selina Polcaro, 2D Curator from the Biscuit Factory, said “The Biscuit Factory is proud to be exhibiting new work by landscape photographer, Mike McFarlane. Since Mike started exhibiting with the gallery last year his atmospheric photographs have proved very popular. His exciting new work, inspired by the coastal regions of the North East of England is expected to bring him much success in 2007.”
All work will be on show at the gallery for the rest of this year. To find out more about have a look in my gallery or the Biscuit Factory’s website www.thebiscuitfactory.com or contact me on my contact page.
