John Muir donation for 2009

Well it was a funny year for me personally, as a photographer and as a business in the present economic downturn and really I didn't get a lot done. However a new year and a new website coupled to a clearer conscience regarding travelling as I am now using my bike and train rather than a van has spurred me on. Best of all, I know that not only am I producing work that inspires other people, but the sales of my work are going to a good cause. Web sales were pretty slow last year as opposed to gallery sales which were a new record, but I would just like to say a big thank you to everyone who did buy online and to let you know that you raised £120 towards the John Muir Trust. I'm really pleased to have been able to donate this money on behalf of Mike McFarlane Landscape Photography towards their valuable work and will continue to support them in 2010.
