New camera gear for reformed landscape photographer!

After my cathartic ebay mega sale of all my old landscape photography camera gear, I have had to buy some more. Oh, the joys of being the impulsive artist!

I spent many wide eyed hours staring at the internet, reading reviews, scanning forums, thinking. Film or digital? Large format or medium format? Nikon or Canon or Sony? Occasionally I even thought about a budget.

Burnout

Anyone with the slightest glance at my website will see that it has not been updated for quite a while. I've hardly touched a camera for the last year apart from snaps of my wife and dog, or when pushed by biking friends to get some ego action shots, and even then it was under duress.

The truth is I haven't been photographing at all. I burned out. Totally.…
