High up above Borrowdale, so early in the morning, even the dog has bags under her bleary eyes, we scramble through wild trees and rocky gorges to reach the summit. Not a path in sight, unlike so many hills in the Lake District, we find our own way, enjoying unspoilt beauty. No one comes this way!
