Souter arch
Only accessible at low tide, the coastline around South Shields is fascinating. I’d spent the morning photographing small lonely rocks protruding from the sea and only noticed this incredible arch on my way home. Luckily the light was good for just long enough…..

Nikon D2X, 12-24mm lens @ 12mm, 0.6s at f/16 ISO100, Lee 0.6ND hard grad filter.
