There are only two ways into Lock Coruisk on Skye, by boat or a day’s walk and there is no way I am getting on a boat! So we walked down between The Black Cuillin and the Red Cuillin into this dark pit of despair nestled in the black heart of the Cuillins. Pretty no. Intimidating yes. But we found a great campsite, Half Dome yosemite stylee on a shelf of granite by the lochside overlooked by a small herd of red deer. Quite a place.
