Common starfish, Allonby, Cumbria, England
19th January 2008
I went over to the Lakes for a few days. The weather was a little unkind, big clumpy skies, but there was plenty to be seen. Because of the lunar cycle and closeness to the equinox, the tidal range was huge, so it was possible to go walk a long way out on the beach. This upturned starfish was quite close to the edge of the tide so he? didn’t have long to wait to be righted.
