Shetland 2007
Windy morning, Bay of Quendale, Shetland, Scotland
15th November 2007
Many people think that it is the wind that has resulted in the lack of trees on Shetland, but a change in the climate in the 18th century was the true cause. However, the high winds are the bane of the landscape photographer. That and the ever present moisture in the air. Shetland - beautiful, but challenging.
