I was stood talking to a real live Viking whilst watching this scene. Whilst I usually like photographing alone, sometimes company is good.
A long shutter speed with an inverted 0.6 ND grad gave the water a smooth look and darkened the water down for this zen like composition.

Nikon D2X, 17-55mm lens @ 55mm, 8s at f/16 ISO100, Lee 0.6ND hard grad filter.
