As I sat there waiting for the evening light, in amongst the golden dunes (and a sandstorm) eating my bread and olives I came to a sudden realisation. This is it. This is as good as life gets for me, sat here in this place. It is just my perfect moment, everyone else has and is entitled to their own dreams and aspirations, whether that is to be a WAG, the head of the corporation or maybe to escape their present poverty. But for me, I sat there contentendly with simple food in a simple place as wind and light washed over me.
